By submitting your deposit or/and completing your Traveler Profile, you agree to the following Terms & conditions.

1 – BOOKING & PAYMENTS

Booking & reservation:
A reservation is effective once an initial deposit is made, subject to availability.
Deposit/Reservation: We required a deposit 30% (non refundable) of the total amount of Trip or event price. Once we receive the deposit and having accepted booking forms, the contract between us will become binding and we will send you an invoice for the balance and advise you of the date for payment of the same.

Final Payment: The balance of payment (70%) is due 90 days prior to departure/trip starting or event date. For reservations made within 90 days of the tour’s departure, final payment is due at time of booking. This is called “Last minute Reservation”.

All prices are in U.S. Dollars.

Prices are subject to changes without prior notice.

2 – LIABILITY

Frasson Travel Designer and its subsidiaries, their respective employees, affiliates, officers, directors, successors, representatives, and assigns shall not be held liable for:

a) Any damage to, or loss of, property or injury to, or death of, persons occasioned directly or indirectly by an act or omission of any other provider, including but not limited to any defect in any aircraft, watercraft, or vehicle operated or provided by such other provider; and

b) Any loss or damage due to delay, cancellation, or disruption in any manner caused by the laws, regulations, acts or failures to act, demands, orders, or interpositions of any government or any subdivision or agent thereof, or by acts of God, strikes, fire, flood, war, rebellion, terrorism, insurrection, sickness, quarantine, epidemics, theft, or any other cause (s) beyond their control. You waive any claim against the travel agent for any such loss, damage, injury, or death.

In the event that any loss, death, injury or illness is caused by the negligent acts or omissions of Frasson Travel Designers or of the Partnered Suppliers of any services which form part of the booking contract then Frasson Travel Designer limits its liability, where applicable by all applicable international conventions.

Notwithstanding anything to the contrary elsewhere in these Terms, Frasson Travel Designer will not in any circumstances be liable to you for any loss or anticipated loss of profit, loss of enjoyment, loss of revenue, loss of use, loss of contract or other opportunity nor for any other consequential or indirect loss or damage of a similar nature.

3 – Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risks, Release & Indemnity Agreement

This is a binding legal document between Frasson Travel Designer and Frasson Travel Designer clients(s) and groups hereafter referred to as “Client(s)”.

The purpose of this agreement is to exempt, waive and relieve Frasson Travel Designer from liability for personal injury, property damage, wrongful death or other claims that may result from Client(s) in the tours, events and/or  activities of Frasson Travel Designer or its suppliers: sightseeing tours, hiking, boat tours, mountain biking, mountaineering, kayaking, rafting, horseback riding, fishing, climbing/rapelling, bird watching, 4×4 circuits, skiing, snowboarding, snow mobiles tours, heli-skiing, heli-tours, backpacking, camping,  etc.

Client (s) who fail to provide a signed Release of Liability prior to departure will not be permitted to join the trip and standard cancellation policy will apply.

4 – LIMITATIONS TO LIABILITY

Frasson Travel Designer is not liable for expenses including meals, transportation, or hotel costs that are not specified as included in the trip cost but may be required to get to or from a trip start or end. Frasson Travel Designer reserves the right to make route and hotel modifications as necessary to improve the quality of a trip or to accommodate the comfort and wellbeing of guests.

5 – CHANGING YOUR BOOKING

If you wish to alter your booking arrangements, after payment confirmation has been issued we will endeavour to assist in making these changes to your booking. Frasson Travel Designer may charge a minimum USD 200 amendment fee. You should note that it is not always possible to make certain requested amendments. In addition to any charge levied by Frasson Travel Designer, the customer will be liable for any additional costs incurred by us or levied by a supplier. 

6 – CANCELLING YOUR BOOKING

Requests to cancel a booking must be made in writing and signed by the client or emailed directly from the client’s own email account. Please note that full cancellation conditions as specified on your booking will apply and we cannot guarantee a refund. All applicable cancellation fees are shown on the confirmation invoice. Frasson Travel Designer reserves the right to apply additional administration fees to any refunds due. Refunds will take approximately 6 weeks to process.

7 – CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation Fees:

Refund 70 % of total booking cost (Loss Deposit of 30%): 90 days or more
Refund  60% of total booking cost: 89-60 days
Refund 50 % of total booking cost: 59-31 days
No Refund (Loss 100% of booking cost): 30 days or less

Some hotels, means of transportation or services have specific penalties to apply for cancellation, even if passengers cancel the trip before, or 90 days before the date of the beginning of the trip.

In this case  service policy  and/or accommodation may apply

 

7- WEATHER CONDITIONS

Frasson Travel Designer reserves the right to make a major change in the trip. If the major change is made due to force majeure or unforeseen circumstances no compensation is payable. Frasson Travel Designer may alter or modify the trip at any time. Once the trip begins, there will be no refund for unused services even if Frasson Travel Designer in its judgment finds it necessary to alter or modify the scope of the trip due to intervening events. It is understood that the route, schedules, itinerary, amenities and mode of transport may be subject to alteration without prior notice due to local circumstances or events.
During or prior to departure the climate conditions (heavy rain, hard winds, snow storms, floods, muddy terrain due to rains, etc.) may force to alter or cancel the trip at the sole group manager/guide decision, in this case may:

a) Propose an alternative according weather and group
b) Cancel totally or partially the itinerary.
c) Postpone the tour/trip/service waiting better weather conditions, subject to availability.
In all these cases no money refund will be made

 

8- FORCE MAJEURE:

Cancellation in cases of force majeure, ‘force majeure’ means a circumstance beyond the reasonable control of Frasson Travel Designer and includes, but is no limited to (war or threat of war, outbreak or threat of disease, denial of border entry for any undocumented reasons, industrial disputes, fire, extreme and adverse weather conditions, natural disaster, epidemics, pandemics, riots/civil strife, terrorist activity, decisions relating to foreign nationals made by the elected or de facto leaders of such areas, political demonstrations, terrorist activity, nuclear disasters war, military clashes, social demonstration, strikes, cancellation or reschedule of: flights, land, sea or lake transport, earthquakes, natural disasters, volcanic eruptions and/or ashes, fires, environmental disasters, avalanches, road traffic / traffic jam). These are cases beyond the control of Frasson Travel Designer who may cancel the trip &/or event at any time. In cases of cancellation due to force majeure THERE IS NO REFUND.

Frasson Travel Designer will not be liable for any additional cost incurred by passengers (accommodation expenses, maintenance, transport or any other expenses emerging from delays in transport departures or returns due to adverse weather conditions, technical conditions, strikes or any other force majeure event).

 

9 – TRAVEL INSURANCE

We highly recommend obtaining a travel & trip cancellation insurance policy alongside with the final payment on your trip. The policy should provide coverage and costs associated with trip cancellation, trip interruption, trip delay, baggage & personal effects loss, baggage delay, medical expense, emergency evacuation & repatriation of remains, accidental death & dismemberment, among other items.

 

10 – AIRPLANES, JETS & HELICOPTER SERVICES

Service subject to changes in schedules and / or routes due to weather conditions or aeronautical restrictions.

Times at the terminals are subject to modifications or limitations of the aeronautical authorities or airport security of the relevant terminal.

The Company reserves the right to modify aircraft by similar according to technical availability to date

Quotations are subject to the availability of equipment at the time of confirmation.

The flight time (helicopters) is considered the lapse in which the turbines are turned on regardless of the position of the helicopter (in the air or on the ground).

These times are calculated in optimal weather conditions, depending on this the shorter or longer transfer time.

In case the flight time (helicopters) is longer than what was quoted (requested by client) the difference must be paid by the customer/client.

 

11- FLIGHTS DELAYS OR CANCELATIONS

Frasson Travel Designer will not be responsible for any modification or cancellation, acts or omissions, unforeseen event or force majeure of the airlines contracted to make the transfers by air according to article 1730 of the Civil and Commercial Argentinean Code. Likewise, any possible expenses caused by the above mentioned reasons, such as lodging, food, transfer of passengers, modification in their itineraries and / or original programs, among others, are excluded from any claim to Frasson Travel Designer.

 

12 – PHOTOS & VIDEOS

By accepting these terms, you agree that, while participating in any Trip, images, photos or videos may be taken by other participants, Frasson Travel Designer or its representatives that may contain or feature you. You consent to any such pictures being taken and grants a perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide, irrevocable license to the travel agent, its contractors, sub-contractors and assigns, to reproduce for any purpose whatsoever (including marketing, promotions and the creation of promotional materials by or with sub-licensees), in any medium whatsoever, whether currently known or hereinafter devised, without any further obligation or compensation payable to you.

Frasson Travel Designer photography within this website or digital content/brochure is copyrighted by Frasson Travel Designer and may not be reproduced without permission.

 

13 – GRATUITIES / TIPING

Our guides, staff members & assistants work very hard to please you and provide an excellent experience and great moments. Gratuities are at your discretion.

 

14 – LOST BELONGINGS

Frasson Travel Designer is not responsible for loss of passports, tickets, or other documents, or loss of or damage to luggage, personal property, or other passenger belongings. Given the nature of our trips, you will not always have your luggage with you. Therefore, we urge you to pack carefully and consider leaving valuables at home.

 

15 – MISCELLANEOUS

While Frasson Travel Designer makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of our publications, we cannot be held responsible for typographical or printing errors, including prices. Frasson Travel Designer recognizes that some guests may have severe food allergies. We make every effort to ensure that our suppliers are notified and prepared, but cannot guarantee that all requests will be accommodated.

 

16 – Exempt Taxes for foreigners only on Accommodation

21% VAT only on accommodation is exempt for foreigners- non residents in the country.

In order to apply 21% VAT exemption on accommodation a scanned copy of each passenger’s passport, proving their nationality, must be presented at least 10 days before the check-in date.

In case of no shows and reduction of group allotments, the penalties to be applied will be invoiced with 21% VAT.

21% exemption on accommodation as per current regulations- in case of changes by Government, we will advise as soon as possible.
